![]() You should definitely use a mono-plug to connect pedals to the controlpad. The kick and hihat pedalinputs on the CP are just switches so any switchpedal should work. Ableton senses two different notes when pressing and releasing the switchpedal connected to the hihat-input because this is what the CP is sending. ![]() ![]() Try connecting the same switchpedal to the kicktriggerinput and you will see only one midinote.ĭespite other entires in this topic I am able to control BFD with my controlpad in a very realistic way (but still far from a real drumkit of course): a Roland DP-10 pedal for the hihat pedal and a pintech RS-5 trigger mouted on a Hansenfutz practisepedal for a kick pedal. The RS-5 inputs directly to one of the triggerinputs on the CP. The DP-10 is soldered to an axis-sensor of an old (and cheap) Logitech Wingman Joystick, its output is converted in Midiyoke to a continuous controller on CC 4 which controls the hihat in BFD.
